How to Have the Perfect Bachelorette Party in Tulum

Tulum is a tropical destination that combines white sand beaches, stunning coral reefs, and ancient Mayan ruins. It’s the perfect spot to get some R&R in while celebrating a bachelorette!

Start your bachelorette party tulum with a day exploring the water, including visiting famous cenotes (sinkholes where you can snorkel or dive) and swimming with turtles. Then, treat yourself to a pampering experience that will leave you feeling pampered and refreshed.

Book your first excursion for the morning. Choose a tour that visits Chichen Itza, the 1,500-year-old site and one of Tulum’s most popular attractions, then head out for a swim in a cenote. Lunch is included along the way, as are transportation, snorkel gear and a professional guide.

You can also take an afternoon hike to Tulum’s infamous Xel-Ha Park for the chance to swim with sea turtles. The park is located about 27 km north of Tulum, and a group can split a taxi van for around $400 MXN.

If you’re craving a night on the town, look for a hotel that’s right by the beach road. There, you’ll save money on taxis and be able to walk right out your door to the best bars in town.

Villa Meka

This four-bedroom private home is in Tulum’s newly built Aldea Zama neighborhood, which makes it easy to walk to restaurants, outdoor acai vendors and taco trucks, plus plenty of low-key bars. It’s got a large pool and a second pool on the rooftop, too.

The best way to stay in the heart of the action, however, is to book a room at a resort on the beach. There’s nothing quite like waking up in your own private pool, sipping on a cocktail and watching the sunrise over the ocean.

Another great option for a beach resort is Ana y Jose, which has luxe suites and bungalows right by the beach with all of the amenities you need to be fully comfortable on your vacation. You’ll even have access to the beach club, which offers a full bar and delicious snacks.

Alternatively, the Hotel at Papaya Playa Project is an upscale complex of casitas and villas that hosts an unforgettable party in the jungle every Saturday night. Neon lights, jungle vibes and delicious cocktails characterize this ultra-cool bar, and the food is off-the-charts good.

Gitano is a super-cool bar in Tulum, and it’s the place to be on Friday nights. With neon lights, jungle vibes and a fun DJ playing, this bar is one you don’t want to miss.

Sunday is the perfect day for R&R and a relaxing afternoon. Spend the day at the beach or in the spa, and don’t forget to pack some sunscreen!

The next morning, wake up early for an excursion that will give you a glimpse of all the best things Tulum has to offer. The tour will start with a visit to Chichen Itza, then you’ll go snorkeling at a cenote and have the opportunity to swim with turtles.
